We are thrilled to announce that this year's Ecsite Space Group's pre-conference workshop in at the Ecsite Annual Conference 2018 in Geneva will feature two very exciting speakers from the Swiss Space community: Claude Nicollier, former Swiss ESA astronaut, and Michel Mayor, discoverer of the first extrasolar planet 51 Pegasi b.

Labour day has brought new labour not just for Ecsite's office but also for 18 of our members in the form of 2 research projects start: SISCODE and SySTEM 2020. They will last 3 years and focus on co-creation and on science learning outside the classroom respectively.
As part of our advocacy campaign for science engagement in the next EU Framework Programme for Research and Innovation (Horizon Europe), we will be organising an event for Members of European Parliament and other EU stakeholders on 15 May. Polish MEP Michał Boni launched the invitation, together with Ecsite and the Copernicus Science Centre.
The Ecsite Annual General Meeting will be taking place on Friday 8 June 2018, 15:45 – 17:00, in Geneva, Switzerland. All Ecsite members are welcome to attend but only Full members have voting rights.
